Wakefield Taylor Courthouse Elevator Monitorization Martinez CA

We redesigned, modernized and installed two Otis elevators originally built in 1963 for the Wakefield Taylor Courthouse in Martinez CA.  We included all fire and electrical upgrades during the project.  The building has historical status and we were careful to match the design elements to preserve the charming feel.  As a special touch, we rebuilt a new modern-built elevator position dial indicator that had the exact historic original finish.

Includes new A/C gearless machines with power regeneration feedback to the building.  When the elevator is slowing down, the energy generated goes back to the courthouse’s building power grid.  We used the latest, locally-built, modern non-proprietary equipment to make it easier to maintain and repair.  The newly designed and built elevators are safer, more reliable, energy efficient and look great.
